IDEs are like fighter jet cockpits
I get uncomfortable when Mac developers cast stones at the Eclipse IDE. I wonder if I should tell them that I found Xcode completely inscrutable the first time I launched it — just like I’ve found all IDEs inscrutable the first time I launched them. Xcode was prettier that most, but it wasn’t intuitive and it certainly wasn’t a pleasure to adopt. An IDE is not supposed to be easy to learn...
